Throughout the song, Bolm's anxiety is tangible, with his focus on every word and his nails dug deep into his skin. As a result, he tends to keep to himself, becoming disconnected from the people in his life. Bolm explains that he avoids phone calls and conversations because he's afraid of being prescribed with medication, indicating a fear of change and a lack of control.
